- Lu Xun is regarded as the founder of modern Chinese literature and his former residence is located in the Hutong within close proximity to the White Pagoda Temple. His home displays over 20,000 works of literature and scrolls.
- Yue Tan or Temple of Moon Park is one of the 4 parks based on Feng Shui positioning, built to protect the city. Local residents frequent the park with bird cages, practicing Tai Chi or exchanging calligraphic skills.
- The Temple of Great Charity / Guangjisi is the headquarters of the Chinese Buddhist Association, a perfect place for peace or simply listening to the monks chanting prayers. Along with an ancient tree and hundreds of Buddhist scriptures, the library houses a good number of handwritten sutras and stone inscriptions.
